Gilly Bachelor Travel Expert celebrates its 5th Birthday on January 28th 2024. To mark this milestone, we are launching our ‘gift of greenery’ campaign, with all clients that book a holiday, from today to the end of February, receiving an outdoor shrub or tree as a gift.

“January is one of our busiest months of the year however, we did not want our 5th Birthday to pass-by unnoticed, but to take this opportunity to reinforce our sustainability message. Over the next month our clients will be receiving ‘the gift of greenery’ as a small token to say thank you for booking their holidays with us.”
Covid was certainly a low point for the travel industry, with many businesses failing and people deserting the industry in droves for more stable (and less stressful) employment. However, Gilly Bachelor Travel Expert emerged stronger than ever, with both 2022 and 2023 seeing significant business growth, with 2024 set to continue this trend. Clients are at the heart of the business which remains committed to its original mission of “planning holidays for people who value a personal service”.
Gilly continued:
“We acknowledge that flying has a negative impact on the environment and staying at home would significantly reduce emissions however, as a business that exists to sell international holidays, we must find ways to reduce our carbon footprint and we were delighted last year to win an award that acknowledged our work in this area. Our ‘gift of greenery’ campaign, is just another small way that we can remind our clients that sustainable travel is as important as ever”.
