Why you should be planning your family Easter Holiday for 2025 now!

This might seem very early, after all we haven’t celebrated Easter 2024 yet. However, 2025 offers you the chance to bag a bargain holiday in destinations including Cyprus, Crete and Turkey.

Our advice is to double-check your school’s Easter Holiday dates as Easter is late next year, with Bank Holidays on the 18^th April (Good Friday) and 21^st (Easter Monday). In Staffordshire our school’s break-up on Friday 11^th April 2025 and return on Monday 28^th April 2025. However, in the southern counties most schools break up a week earlier on Friday 4^th April and return on Tuesday 22^nd April (after Easter Monday).

Why does this matter?

Put simply it means that there are great prices to be had for ‘early Easter holidays’ for 7 nights departing 4/5/6^th April, and for ‘late Easter holidays’ departing on the 20/21^st April. Conversely, the week to avoid is around 12^th-19^th April when prices are at their highest.

When Easter holidays fall in March families head to the Canary Islands, Dubai and the Caribbean in search of winter sun. However, with Easter 2025 falling in April destinations including Cyprus, Crete and Turkey, with average temperatures ranging between 16 and 22 degrees centigrade, may be options. It may be a little chilly in the evening but book a resort with a heated pool and lots for the children to do, and you’ll find great value in these destinations.

Treat yourself to a week in a 5* ultra-all-inclusive hotel in Turkey, Cyprus or Crete with endless indoor and outdoor activities for adults and children to enjoy, and the great news is hotel aqua parks typically open on the 1^st April.
