We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our first Travel Consultant Apprenticeship (Level 3), offering a unique opportunity for school and college leavers to start a career in the exciting, global travel industry while gaining hands-on experience and professional qualifications.

About Gilly Bachelor and the Business

Gilly Bachelor is the founder of a small, award-winning travel business built from the ground up over the past seven years. Unlike a high-street travel agent, Gilly’s agency is small, client-focused, and offers the highest level of personal service, to clients in the local area, and across the UK.

“Being a small business means that me and my team wear many hats, from operations and bookings to marketing, partnerships, customer experience, and business strategy. This creates an exciting, hands-on environment perfect for school and college leavers who want to learn by doing, rather than just observing.

Over the past five years, the business has offered numerous work placements and “hot-housed” students preparing for interviews, giving them the confidence, practical skills, and insight needed to succeed in a competitive world. By launching this apprenticeship, Gilly is taking her commitment to the next level.

About the Apprenticeship
  • Role: Travel Consultant (Level 3). You’ll be training to make travel arrangements, book accommodation, produce itineraries, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Location: Brewood, ST19 9LT. Apprentices can travel up to 10 miles.
  • Duration: 12 months, resulting in a level 3 qualification (equivalent to A-levels).
  • Funding: Fully funded up to £7,000.
