We are beyond thrilled (and slightly exhausted) to have tackled this journey in an electric vehicle—the first team ever to do so!
The Travel Trade Crusade, a challenging 1500-mile drive (2000 for us!) through 6 European countries, welcomed The Pink Ribbon Electric Crusaders to their competition. The team of four, consisting of Gilly Bachelor Travel Expert, Holiday Admin Whizz Stephanie Minton, Phil Bachelor, and Brian Bachelor from E-Van Guru, are the first-ever team to attempt the challenge in an electric vehicle.
Our aim was to raise over £2500 for Breast Cancer Now through sponsorship and fundraising efforts. However, we’re excited to report that we smashed our target by raising over £3500, we’re also proud to have handed out more than 100 information packs to fellow travellers, reminding everyone to check their boobs!
From the rolling hills of England to the peaks of the Swiss Alps, we proved you can have an epic, sustainable adventure.
Please donate here, every penny raised goes to this amazing cause.
The Pink Ribbon Electric Crusaders’ chosen charity is Breast Cancer Now. This cause is particularly close to Stephanie’s heart as the charity provided meaningful support to her sister Jennifer Dawson, who lost her battle with breast cancer last year at just 32 years of age, 12 years after losing her mother to the same disease.
Gilly Bachelor Travel Expert and E-Van Guru covered all the costs associated with the challenge, including the entry fee, accommodation, charging, insurance, and food. 100% of the sponsorship money raised by the team will be donated to their dedicated charity.
