When I started this business seven years ago, I had no formal travel agency background.
I still remember attending one of my first supplier events and being told quite bluntly by someone who had been in the industry for decades that I had no place building a travel business without “proper experience”.
At the time, it stung. But in hindsight, it also clarified something I’ve never forgotten. Destination knowledge, booking systems, supplier relationships and processes can all be taught. They can be learned, refined and improved over time. What can’t be easily taught is the ability to build trust. And trust is the foundation of everything we do here.
Over the past seven years, I’ve built a business based on relationships, reputation and genuine care for our clients. People come back (and refer friends, family and colleagues) not simply because we book great holidays, but because they feel listened to, understood and looked after. That is the part of the business I value most and want to protect and grow.
Alongside me, Stephanie Minton has played a huge role in helping deliver that service, and we’re now looking for the next person to join us as we continue to grow.

Deliberately Keeping an Open Mind
I’m deliberately keeping an open mind about who the right person might be.
Perhaps you’ve spent a couple of years working in a travel agency and are looking for an opportunity to develop in a more entrepreneurial, relationship-led environment. Or perhaps you’ve built a successful career in another trust-based sales role and love the idea of helping people create memories through travel.
What matters most is your ability to build relationships, generate business and genuinely care about the people you work with.
You may already have your own little black book of loyal clients, or you may have the drive and ambition to build one within an established, growing business that already enjoys an incredibly loyal customer base.
Let’s Talk About the Hours
This isn’t a traditional 9am-5pm travel agency role.
The reality is that many of our clients are busy professionals who often have time to discuss and book their holidays during evenings and weekends. As a result, a significant proportion of our appointments take place outside normal office hours.
I structure my days around my clients. I usually start work later in the morning (10am) and work into the evening (10pm), and I regularly work weekends because that’s when many of my clients are available.
As a business owner that’s okay, but I don’t expect anyone joining the business to mirror my hours, but I do need someone who understands that flexibility is part of what makes our service special.
You’ll have considerable freedom to manage your own diary, appointments and workload, provided you’re delivering exceptional service to your clients.
Occasionally, you may also need to assist clients outside normal working hours. Thankfully, genuine travel emergencies are rare, but they do happen. Flight disruptions, medical issues overseas or unexpected travel problems don’t always occur between 9am and 5pm. Supporting clients through those situations is part of the service we provide and one of the reasons our clients trust us so implicitly.
We don’t operate a traditional retail travel agency with passing footfall, so there is no requirement for office cover. Instead, the focus is on building and maintaining relationships and managing your own client portfolio effectively.
I also spend around 12 weeks each year travelling overseas, visiting destinations and suppliers, and this role will become increasingly important in helping support the business and our clients during those periods.
What About the Salary?
This is not a commission-only role.
My current thinking is a basic salary of approximately £24,000 per annum, together with a generous commission structure (but for the right candidate I’m happy to discuss this!).
I would expect a successful candidate to achieve earnings of in excess of £40,000 OTE, the commission is uncapped (so I’d expect this to go over £100k in time). Ultimately, your earning potential will be linked directly to the relationships you build, the business you generate and the service you provide.
For someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys building long-term client relationships, there is significant opportunity to grow both their career and their income.
This is a full-time permanent position with paid holiday and all the benefits you’d expect from an employed role.
Whilst there will be flexibility, one of our unique selling points is our office environment in Brewood (ST19 9LT) and the personal service it allows us to offer. For that reason, I’d like the successful candidate to be office-based for at least half of the week initially, as they become established within the business and build relationships with our clients.
This isn’t a role for someone looking to process bookings.
It’s a role for someone who wants to build something.
Someone who loves people, loves travel and understands that the best businesses are built one client relationship at a time.
I’m not looking for someone to replace me or what I’ve built. I’m looking for someone to help me grow it, protect it and become part of its future.
If that sounds like you, I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
Please email your CV and covering letter to [email protected] by 26th June 2026 if you’d like to apply for this role.
