On Wednesday 24th June, we had the pleasure of welcoming 20 clients to our exclusive Scenic evening – and what a wonderful evening it turned out to be.
With temperatures soaring on what became the hottest night of the year, we made a last-minute change of venue. Rather than hosting everyone in our office as originally planned, we moved the event into our orangery and garden, which created a lovely relaxed atmosphere and proved to be the perfect setting for an evening of travel inspiration.
Following a short introduction, where I shared a little about our own experience and expertise in river, ocean and expedition cruising, we were then joined by Leiza Sullivan from Scenic for a truly engaging presentation.
Discovering Scenic’s World of Luxury Travel
Leiza gave us a fantastic insight into Scenic’s collection of luxury travel experiences, exploring both their all-inclusive river cruises and their extraordinary expedition voyages.
The evening took us through Scenic’s beautiful river cruise itineraries across Europe and beyond, from iconic waterways such as the Danube, Rhine and Douro to journeys further afield in Asia. We discussed the relaxed pace of river cruising, the cultural experiences on offer and the ease of travelling directly into the heart of destinations.
We also explored Scenic’s expedition programme – a very different style of travel designed for those seeking adventure and discovery in some of the world’s most remote regions.
Antarctica Captured Everyone’s Imagination
One destination in particular quickly became a highlight of the evening – Antarctica.
The breathtaking imagery and stories of expedition cruising amongst glaciers, wildlife and dramatic landscapes captured everyone’s imagination and showcased just how extraordinary these journeys can be. The opportunity to explore untouched environments while enjoying Scenic’s ultra-luxury experience on board generated plenty of excitement and discussion throughout the evening.
It was fascinating to compare river and expedition cruising and understand how each offers something completely different. Whether you’re looking for cultural exploration, relaxed luxury or unforgettable adventures, Scenic offers an impressive range of experiences.
