“Just Returned from a Holiday We Never Would Have Found Without Gilly – And It Was Perfect, by Rhianna Parsons!”

This is my third summer working with Gilly and her team, but we’ve been clients for a few years now so I wanted to share with you, what we love about the service!

We got back yesterday from an incredible holiday in Alcudia, Mallorca—and honestly, we’re already talking about going back. It was exactly what we needed as a family: relaxing, easy, and full of little surprises we never would have found on our own.

It all started with a consultation with Gilly Bachelor. My sister and I had just finished our exams and had a rare bit of free time before the school holidays began. We knew we wanted to go away as a family but didn’t know where to start. We had a clear wish list:

We took a few days to decide, then settled on Trend Hotel in Alcudia —a stylish 16+ hotel with amazing reviews, beautiful interiors, and a location that couldn’t have been better: just two minutes’ walk to both the beach and the lively high street.

Stephanie made the run-up to the holiday stress-free, with all our travel documents prepared and everything explained clearly. We flew from Birmingham to Palma with Jet2 and were met on arrival by their friendly team, who got us straight onto our transfer coach.

From the moment we arrived, it felt special. The hotel was welcoming, the staff were brilliant (friendly, funny, and helpful), and the whole atmosphere was calm and low-key—perfect for winding down. The food was excellent, the rooms spotless and stylish, and there were always sunbeds available thanks to the hotel’s smaller size.

We spent the week exploring nearby markets, wandering the high street at night, relaxing on the beach, and even took a coach trip to Palma. It felt like the perfect balance of independence and family time.

The best part? This isn’t a hotel we’d have ever found or chosen ourselves—but it was exactly what we needed. That’s what makes booking with Gilly so valuable: she really gets to know you and finds those hidden gems you’d never discover on your own.
