It’s hard to believe it’s been over seven years since I started the business, and six years since we first opened the doors to our purpose-built office with a Hawaiian-themed party. Since then, this space has hosted thousands of travel chats, holiday planning sessions, and more cups of coffee than we can count.

After a full refurbishment, we’re thrilled to say our office is now complete and it bigger, brighter, and better than ever.

Introducing the Van Guru Fleet Specialists Office

Here is a little context… Brian started Van Guru back in 2021, and at the time, I agreed he could share my office space (it was just me then!). Fast forward 5 years, and his team has grown to four, so I gave him the ultimatum: improve the office for everyone, or you’ll need to move out!

What began as a simple shed tidy-up has become a brand-new dedicated workspace. Built on the footprint of the old workshop, Van Guru now has its own office with private access but still share our kitchen and loo (because we’re lovely like that!)

The changes we’ve been waiting for…

The transformation has been incredible. Old doors and windows have been replaced with beautiful new ones, flooding the space with natural light. A cosy log-burning stove has been installed, perfect for winter travel planning sessions. And the décor throughout the office has been refreshed to create a welcoming and inspiring environment for both our team and visitors.

What’s Changed?

  • New door and accessibility ramp for easier access for all visitors;
  • Stylish interior design, including a brochure and awards wall;
  • Glorious natural light, ideal for productivity and dreaming of Greek islands;
  • A new desk layout officially approved by Stephanie and Zappa;
  • We even kept the sofa because Daisy our office dog refuses to get off it!

A Space for Every Kind of Travel Planning

Our open-plan space is perfect for one or two clients to pop in for a quick chat. But we’ve also introduced a new boardroom, a private and cosy space where families or friends can sit together and explore an itinerary. Over afternoon tea, nibbles, or even a little fizz, it’s the perfect setting to plan a holiday in comfort and privacy.

We’re already full of exciting plans for an office party, coffee mornings, themed evenings, and travel workshops in the new space, and we’re eager to welcome you all!
