Office Refurbishment Update – Nearing the Finish Line!

It’s hard to believe it’s been over six years since we first opened the doors to our office with an Hawaiian themed party. It’s been the perfect space for thousands of travel chats, holiday planning sessions and more cups of coffee than we can count.

But just like a well loved hotel that’s ready for a refresh, our space is getting a full upgrade and it has turned into a much bigger project than originally planned.

The Original Office – Getting a Glow Up

Our main office is in the middle of its transformation and it’s already looking fabulous. We’ve waved goodbye to the old door and windows, welcoming beautiful new ones that flood the office with natural light. A cosy log burning stove is now installed and perfect for winter travel planning sessions and the full space is being redecorated later in the year.

Introducing The Van Guru Fleet Specialists Office

What started as a simple shed tidy up has snowballed into a whole brand new workspace. Built on the footprint of the old workshop Van Guru will soon have its own dedicated office with private access.

Designed for Comfort Accessibility and Creative Thinking

Here’s what’s already in place:

An accessibility ramp making it easier for all our visitors;
Cleverly reorganised storage because travel brochures multiply when unattended;
Glorious natural light throughout essential for productivity and dreaming about Greek islands;
A new desk layout which has officially received the seal of approval from both Stephanie and Zappa;
Daisy our loyal Office Dog has appointed herself Head of Quality Control and has been overseeing installation.

Our goal is to have everything finished by the end of the year and the team is already buzzing with ideas for how we’ll use the new setup including coffee mornings destination evenings and travel workshops.
