No Destination? No Problem — and No Fees!

One of the things I love about my role is that around half of our clients don’t come to us with a destination in mind. And honestly, that’s where the fun begins. Instead of starting with a place, we start with a conversation — and that’s when we can really understand what will make a holiday perfect for you.

Over the years, I’ve found that answering these three questions is a great place to start:

1. When do you want to travel? Your dates often shape the entire trip — whether it’s school holidays, time off work, or a milestone celebration.
2. What weather do you want? Most of you are chasing sunshine, or at least warm weather that’s comfortable — hot enough to feel like a proper escape, but not so hot that it’s exhausting.
3. How much do you want to spend? Everyone has a budget, whether modest or generous, but all our clients want great value for money. They may be spending a little or a lot, but they want to know it’s the best experience they can get.

Once we’ve answered these questions, the next step is about what matters most to you. We explore your “must-haves” — maybe a sea view, a kids’ club, private transfers, or a heated pool.

And then there are the nice-to-haves — the often resort-based touches that make a holiday feel extra special: perhaps a swim-up room, a spa and fitness suite, water sports, or evening entertainment. These details elevate the experience but may not be essential. Experience has taught us that everyone’s holiday is unique, so we never take for granted what matters to you.

These conversations help us create a holiday that’s not just a destination, but an experience tailored to you — whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, family, or group. Seeing clients light up when they realise, we’ve found something that ticks every box — often places they hadn’t thought of — is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
