Do you, or someone in your family need help to make travel more accessible?

A large part of the work we do is supporting customers who have additional needs or special requirements around travel. This could be requesting wheelchair assistance at the airport, booking an accessible room, ensuring specific facilities are available to customers certain needs, and even planning in case of an emergency evacuation for clients with physical and hidden disabilities.

My lovely Dad (when he was with us) and my beautiful niece have accessibility needs which include travelling with a wheelchair and controlled drugs. So I am well versed at using airport and cruise port Special Assistance, and the rules for travelling with medicines, as these can vary between countries, so it’s always important to double-check.

I’m a complex case however my Auntie Gilly has sorted all my medical travel needs – which is many and it has made the holiday flow much better and reduce stress. Highly recommended if you have extra needs when you’re going on holiday.

We are committed to making holidays as accessible as possible, we liaised with airports, transfers, hotels and cruise lines to ensure that our clients have all they need to enjoy their holiday safely. We’ve had clients travel with a variety of needs, including those travelling with extensive medical equipment (CPAP machines, nebulisers, oxygen and catheter) and items that have to be kept at a specific temperature.

Going on holiday should be an stress-free experience that leaves you feeling relaxed and refreshed. However, if you or someone in your family has additional needs, it can become stressful. It may even prevent you from booking anything in the first place.

We are passionate about helping our clients to access the holiday they would like to take, and will put in place all the measures to make this possible.
